Vanaf 2 april zijn op Disney+ verschillende Star Wars-spin-offs te zien, waaronder de korte animatiefilm The Story of the Faithful Wookie. Die maakt deel uit van de beruchte Star Wars Holiday Special en introduceert de premiejager Boba Fett.

De Star Wars Holiday Special zelf verschijnt niet op Disney+, maar de tv-films Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure, Ewoks: The Battle for Andor en de animatieserie Ewoks uit de jaren tachtig wel.

Ook Genndy Tartakovsky’s animatieserie Star Wars: Clone Wars, een voorloper op George Lucas’ animatieserie Star Wars: The Clone Wars, maakt op 2 april zijn Disney+-debuut.
