De eerste plaats gaat naar Jane Campions The Piano dat door tien procent van de ondervraagden tot de winnaar werd uitgeroepen.

Tot slot scoorde Agnès Varda met zes stuks de meeste vermeldingen, gevolgd door Kathryn Bigelow met vijf en Claire Denis, Lynne Ramsay en Sofia Coppola met vier
