Op internet doet momenteel een video de ronde van een groep Thaise apen die op straat vechten om voedsel nu er door het coronavirus geen toeristen meer zijn om hen eten te geven.

Het filmpje is viraal gegaan en doet denken aan Planet of the Apes. De film begon te trenden op Twitter en sommigen, waaronder The Mandalorian-actrice Ming-Na Wen, grapten dat de uitbraak van COVID-19 zal leiden tot een door apen gedomineerde planeet.
