Een scène uit de finale van Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is uitgegroeid tot een virale sensatie. Op Twitter nemen namelijk tal van fans deel aan de zogeheten Ben Solo Challenge.

De bedoeling is om het moment na te bootsen waarop Ben Solo/Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) een lightsaber trekt en nonchalant zijn schouders ophaalt voor hij de Knights of Ren te lijf gaat. Bens vader Han Solo (Harrison Ford) maakt een gelijkaardig gebaar in Return of the Jedi.

Online doen al versies van de Ben Solo Challenge met speelgoedlightsabers, vliegenmeppers en plastic flesjes de ronde, alsook één met een kartonnen Kylo Ren.
