Nadat ze afgelopen zomer de heropening van de Amerikaanse bioscopen inluidden, doen The New Mutants en Unhinged het goed op de Amerikaanse video-on-demand-platformen.

The New Mutants is de nummer één op Apple TV en FandangoNow. Vooral dat tweede is indrukwekkend, aangezien FandangoNow zich baseert op de totale opbrengst van een film en The New Mutants voor slechts 5,99 dollar te huur is.

Unhinged behaalt dan weer de eerste plaats op Google Play, de tweede op FandangoNow en de derde op Apple TV. De film was eerder beschikbaar als premium VOD-titel voor 19,99 dollar, maar nu als gewone VOD-titel voor 5,99 dollar.

Op Netflix staan zeven van de tien populairste films in het teken van Kerstmis, waaronder nieuwkomer en nummer één The Princess Switch: Switched Again.
