Sound of Metal van Belgisch productiehuis gelauwerd door Chicago- en Florida-critici
Na de Boston Society of Film Critics hebben ook de Chicago Film Critics Association en de Florida Film Critics Circle de prijs voor Beste Acteur in een Bijrol uitgereikt aan Paul Raci voor Sound of Metal van het Belgische productiehuis Caviar.
Wat Beste Film betreft, kozen de Chicago-critici voor First Cow en de Florida-critici voor Nomadland. Verder wonnen respectievelijk Chadwick Boseman (Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom) en Anthony Hopkins (The Father) de prijs voor Beste Acteur.
Daarnaast riepen beide verenigingen van filmcritici Frances McDormand uit tot Beste Actrice voor Nomadland en Maria Bakalova tot Beste Actrice in een Bijrol voor Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.
