ROCKETMAN looks terrific. BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY was compromised by the band’s involvement but Elton seems to have encouraged a warts-&-all portrayal of his remarkable life. The costumes are GORGEOUS, shoo-in for Oscar nom. So many great songs. Elton means a lot to me so I can’t wait!

SONIC THE HEDGEHOG looks like a fun family film w/ an energetic turn from Jim Carrey as mustachioed Dr. Robotnik, who got his own separate reel after the trailer. One scene w/ Sonic surrounded by missiles reminded me of Quicksilver’s standout scenes in X-Men franchise. I dug it!

Tot slot was er een eerste teaser van Gemini Man te zien in 3D. De film van Ang Lee gaat over een huurmoordenaar (Will Smith) die op de hielen wordt gezeten door een jongere kloon van zichzelf, ook gespeeld door Smith. De verjongingstechnologie die daarvoor werd gebruikt, zou naar verluidt verbluffend zijn.
