Shane Carruth, de regisseur van Primer en Upstream Color, zei onlangs dat hij zijn twee ongemaakte scifiprojecten A Topiary en The Modern Ocean achter zich zou laten.

Sindsdien deelde hij een filmje dat een idee moest geven hoe A Topiary er had kunnen uitzien en nu heeft hij ook het script van The Modern Ocean online gezet, samen met een aantal muzieksuggesties om tijdens het lezen te beluisteren.

“Ik heb het script lange tijd voor mij gehouden omdat scripts geen films zijn en films geen cinema,” tweet Carruth. “Ik wou mij gewoon niet belachelijk maken, maar nu denk ik dat het wel leuk zou kunnen zijn om het script vrij te geven.”
