In de categorie Best Picture Drama vinden we Mad Max: Fury Road, The Revenant, Carol, Room en Spotlight terug. The Big Short, Joy, The Martian, Spy en Trainwreck maken kans op een Golden Globe voor Best Picture Musical/Comedy.
