In Londen zijn op 10 en 11 april de 74e BAFTA’s aka de Britse Oscars uitgereikt.

Nomadland werd de grote winnaar met awards voor Beste Film, Beste Regisseur (Chloé Zhao), Beste Actrice in een Hoofdrol (Frances McDormand) en Beste Cinematografie (Joshua James Richards).

Ook Sound of Metal van het Belgische productiehuis Caviar sleepte twee BAFTA’s in de wacht, voor Beste Montage en Beste Geluid.
