Acteur Mark Hamill speelde niet alleen Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, maar ook het personage Dobbu Scay. Hij was te zien tijdens de scène in het casino van de stad Canto Bight, waarin hij de droid BB-8 verwarde met een gokautomaat.

Hamill onthulde in een tweet dat hij naast de stem aka het gegrom van Dobbu Scay ook de motion capture voor zijn rekening nam. Opdat hij en BB-8 even groot zouden zijn, werd een enorme medicijnbal gebruikt.

It is commonly (& mistakenly) reported that I only did the voice of Dobbu Scay, but I filmed the scene in a full motion-capture suit w/ a giant-sized medicine ball to make me the same size as BB-8.
