Warner Bros. Entertainment heeft nog maar net Ann Sarnoff aangesteld als nieuwe CEO of ze wordt al bestookt met verzoeken om Zack Snyders versie van Justice League uit te brengen.

Sarnoff vervangt Kevin Tsujihara, die aftrad na beschuldigingen van wangedrag, en moet Warners geplande streamingdienst in goeie banen leiden. Dat deed ze namelijk al met BBC’s Amerikaanse streamingdienst BritBox.

Sommige DC-fans wachten echter nog steeds op Snyders originele visie voor Justice League en reageerden op het nieuws met de hashtag #ReleaseTheSnyderCut. De regisseur werd namelijk vervangen door Joss Whedon (The Avengers) na een familietragedie.
