Johnny Depp heeft tijdens San Diego Comic-Con een nieuwe trailer van David Yates’ Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald voorgesteld. Depp verscheen ten tonele als het titelpersonage dat in de sequel op Yates’ Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them op de hielen wordt gezeten door Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) in opdracht van Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law).
