De actiefilm The Informer met Suicide Squad-acteur Joel Kinnaman verscheen in het grootste deel van de wereld reeds in het najaar van 2019 of het voorjaar van 2020, maar kreeg geen bioscooprelease in de VS.

Daar verscheen hij pas afgelopen weekend op video-on-demand en werd hij ondanks zijn hogere prijskaartje van 19,99 dollar meteen de nummer één op de VOD-platformen Apple TV en FandangoNow.

Ook twee andere nieuwkomers, Mortal van Andre Øvredal (Trollhunter, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark) en de horrorfilm The Dark and the Wicked, doen het goed en belanden in de top tien van Apple TV en FandangoNow.

Antebellum staat dan weer in de top tien van zowel Apple TV en FandangoNow als Spectrum en Google Play, nadat de huurprijs werd verlaagd van 19,99 dollar naar 5,99 dollar.
