“The Beguiled neemt een typisch mannelijke fantasie en zet ze volledig op haar kop.  De vrouwen zijn de sterke personages in deze remake,” geeft Chastain mee over de film van Sofia Coppola.

Over Okja is Chastain nog lyrischer: “Als veganiste is het onmogelijk om objectief te blijven bij deze film. Ik vind hem geweldig. Ik moest er zelfs van huilen.”
