De DC-film werd geregisseerd door Cathy Yan en draait rond een team heldinnen: Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez) en Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco).
