Zaterdag wordt tijdens de Kid’s Choice Awards de eerste trailer van Dora and the Lost City of Gold vertoond. De film is gebaseerd op de kinderreeks Dora the Explorer.

Sicario: Day of the Soldado-actrice Isabele Moner vertolkte de live-action Dora en werd vergezeld door Machete-ster Danny Trejo. Hij verzorgde namelijk de stem van Dora’s trouwe aapje Boots.

Daarnaast sprak Moners Sicario-collega Benicio del Toro de stem van de gemene vos Swiper in. The Muppets-regisseur James Bobin stond achter de camera.
