In de categorie Beste Film deelt favoriet Nomadland de eerste plaats met Minari. Nomadland verdient volgens de peiling ook de Oscars voor Beste Regisseur (Chloé Zhao) en Beste Cinematografie (Joshua James Richards).

Sound of Metal van het Belgische productiehuis Caviar krijgt de voorkeur wat Beste Montage en Beste Geluid betreft en wordt tweede in de categorieën Beste Film, Beste Acteur (Riz Ahmed) en Beste Acteur in een Bijrol (Paul Raci).
