Adil El Arbi en Bilall Fallah deelden onlangs de eerste foto van hoofdrolspeelster Leslie Grace in hun DC-film Batgirl en het kostuum van de superheldin valt niet bij iedereen in de smaak. Zo tweetten sommigen dat het er uitziet alsof het door een fan is gemaakt om aan cosplay te doen.

El Arbi heeft gereageerd op de kritiek door in een Instagram Story een bekende meme te delen waarin Batman zijn hulpje Robin slaat. In dit geval zegt Robin ‘Het ziet eruit als cospla…’ en antwoordt Batman met ‘Zwijg en wacht tot de film uit is!’

As much as I really want to love the Batgirl costume for the upcoming movie idk I just can't it looks like a CW suit. Now don't get me wrong I like the CW looks just not for a movie. While YES, this costume is quite comic book accurate, this pic makes it look like some Cosplay….not very impressed!
