Girls Trip-actrice Tiffany Haddish gaf op oudejaarsavond een stand-upcomedy-optreden in Miami en kreeg heel wat negatieve kritiek over zich heen. Volgens aanwezigen vergat ze sommige grappen, verprutste ze andere en verlieten sommige mensen zelfs de zaal terwijl ze nog bezig was.

Haddish gaf toe dat de show niet zo goed was en gelooft dat het niet meer zal gebeuren. Ze kreeg alvast heel wat steun van collega’s als Patton Oswalt, Damon Wayans Jr. en zijn oom Marlon Wayans.
