Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri kroonde zich gisterennacht tot de grote winnaar van de 75e Golden Globes Awards. De film van Martin McDonagh wist vier van zijn zes nominaties te verzilveren. Zo won het in de categorieën Beste Drama en Beste Scenario. Daarnaast werden ook Frances McDormand en Sam Rockwell beloond voor hun acteerprestaties. Zij kregen een beeldje voor Beste Actrice en Beste Acteur in een bijrol.

Lady Bird en The Shape of Water vielen ieder tweemaal in de prijzen. De indie-film van Greta Gerwig won in de categorie Beste Musical of Komedie en Beste Actrice. Guillermo del Toro won met zijn sprookjesachtig liefdesverhaal dan weer Beste Regisseur en Beste Soundtrack.
