In het zog van talloze filmrecensenten en -magazines heeft nu ook de reviewsite Rotten Tomatoes een lijstje gemaakt van de beste films uit 2017. Het voorbije jaar kreeg Get Out de beste recensies op de website.

De films die de voorbije jaren op nummer één eindigden, waren Moonlight, Mad Max: Fury Road en Boyhood. Die werden ook allemaal beloond met een Oscarnominatie voor Beste Film.

De top-10 van dit jaar wordt aangevuld met de indiefilms The Big Sick en Lady Bird, en blockbusters zoals Wonder Woman, Logan en Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
